Budleigh Salterton Riding School is situated on the edge of Woodbury Common in a peaceful country setting, within easy reach of Budleigh Salterton, Exmouth and Exeter.


This provides the ideal location for country rides over heathland with spectacular views of the coastline. The riding school also has two large all-weather menages with jumping facilities for riding lessons.



All standards and ages of rider are welcome, from complete beginners to those with a lifetime of experience. On all occasions horses are matched to riders abilities by our highly qualified staff. Qualified riding instruction is available and riding is always accompanied.


Budleigh Salterton Riding School also offer full and DIY liveries, facilities for breaking and training horses, breeds warm blood horses and competes in many equestrian events.
