Hi all, I'm leaving midwifery in a few months to start work as a full time foster carer. Its very exciting - and quite daunting! Maybe I'll be joining you for a beach walk with one or more foster children. I'm starting with little ones and I've said I'm happy to take very poorly ones, or those who have a disability, however severe, too. I need to set myself up with clothes and toys and equipment for a variety of ages ao I can access stuff quickly if we get a child at short notice (which happens often, I'm told!). So I was wondering if any of you had stuff (cheap!) that I could get - for instance bottles, steriliser, booster type high chair, baby and child car seat, clothes, cot linen etc. I have got enough newborn baby toys, but anything 2+ would be useful. I can collect it all and pay you when I collect, or if you have donations and its more than I need, I could take extras to the children's centre where I still teach antenatal classes. Any ideas?
